Yes I'm Alive...

That's the problem...I've been living instead of at my computer as often...can you believe that!
I'm really sorry for not blogging for all of my fans out there...yeah...right...like I have any of those!

I couldn't possibly catch you up on everything that I have been up to, so I will just start where it is that I can actually remember. As a lot of you know...we had a fun birthday party with Chasin...back on the 21st of March...I took lots of pictures...but can see by my children's blogs and facebook...they have put a lot of them on...so I don't have to worry about not posting pictures for that event!

We went to the Jazz game...Barndaddy, myself, barndiva and Trev "barnfriend!" We had a good time...anyway I did...and I think that the others did to...although an old lady kept clicking here clacker in the kids' ears and yelling at the ref's all night...they wanted to brake her clackers...but hey...that's life at the ball games...right!

So next...yeah...I finally did it...I bought me a road bike to ride...no...not a Harley Davidson...a Specialized Dolce Elite 2009...and I love it!

Carla, Scott and Tina Anderson and a bunch of others went a riding this last Saturday on the 28th. Greg and Jeff took Carla and I down to the junction of bullfrog and Hite turn off...we all met up there and started from there...we rode to Hite Ranger station...it was a ripping great time...the hills were a ?*#%@ for me...but Carla went up them like a pro...I'm going to be working on that one...just so Scott doesn't have to push me up any more of them...that guy is such a life saver...I really owe him...if he were a women...I could give him a bag of chocolate...but since he is a man and a dentist...I think NOT...maybe just working on getting up the big hills on my own will be payment enough...ya think!
I haven't taken a picture of my bike that barndaddy bought for me yet...but I will and then I'll post it so all can see...yea!

The guys did a little dog hunting while were on our ride...they then came and picked us up down at Hite and we loaded up and headed home so we could shower and get to the "Sportsmen for Wildlife" dinner and drawings...wonderful Prim rib dinner...Yumo...so it cost a little bit...but it is so nice to get out and enjoy life once in awhile! The barndiva did her best to help Gary win things...but didn't get that accomplished...but she did do a great job of spending his money...better luck next year BD! We sure missed Chad, Stephanie and the girls...Chad is saving his money for a MULE...no...not a mule 4-wheeler...a heehaw mule...one that kicks and bucks...good luck with that one Chado! Maybe more of the family can make it...save your money!
But priorities are more important...so what ever floats your boats!

Randi and Heather won themselves each a gun...how lucky is that...but April Torgerson won herself two guns and a sleeping bag...that's enough already you guys...wait till next year...but I'll probably just do what I did this year...only buy a few tickets and then sit back, enjoy my dinner and watch everyone else spend their money! We'll see???

Sunday...what can I say...it was finally a great day of rest...and I enjoyed every bit of it! Thank Heaven for Sunday's...

Well now it is time to go to work for the week...I'll try and keep up on the blogging...sorry again that I haven't shared my life experiences with you for a couple of weeks...but hey...that's life and life is a Peach!

Love you guys...keep it cool and help it warm up again...would ya!

I Love Sundays

So...have I mentioned lately that I really love Sundays and I really love going to church...there is just nothing like sitting in sacrament meeting with the ward family and feeling so much a part of something incredible...although we did miss Trevor blessing the sacrament...now that's special...hearing how humble a young man can be during a prayer! I hope that you all take a moment and watch the nice video that Gary B. sent by Gmail...go below and put my music on pause then play the video...it is something to consider...so sit back and enjoy...then get busy living right everyone...most of all me.

Whit drove us home from church today...she actually passed another car that was going slower than us...if she would have had her way...we would have followed it all the way to Teasdale...but I convinced her that she could do it...and she did...not too much jerking us around...I think that she will end up being a very good driver:-O...did I say that...teeheehee!

Not a lot happening today...I am baking those yummy pumpkin cookies that I posted the recipe to on March 13, 2009. I think that I'll take Kendal some...since it is his Birthday and all today!

I think he might have another friend that he is visiting...I can't wait to meet her...I know that he can wait to have us all meet her...cuz you know our families...we're raw from the start...right Trev...teeheehee...BD sits here and shakes her head...I think she likes you...Do Ya Think!

May you all enjoy your Sabbath day and may you all have FHE tomorrow night...Whit got her new YW value...more than likely...we will help her work on that one for our FHE...then maybe...just maybe...Barndaddy will make us a treat...NOT! But I'm sure that he'll have the activity...college basketball for sure!

Turn to the person sitting to your left and give them a HUG today...if there isn't someone sitting next to you...then get up off of your Petunia and go sit by someone.

One Nice Saturday

Hey...talk about a nice weather Saturday for once.
Carla and I took a trip to Caineville and shot some pictures of the people down there jumping their bikes...it was 60 degrees down there today.

The guys went dog hunting...BD is watching Chelsie's kids...so she can work...so that left Carla and I by ourselves...well you know what that spells...TROUBLE...not...we're too old to get into trouble.

We were on our way down there and got to the visitor center at the park and she asked me if I remembered my camera...duh...that's why we're going...so that I can capture some pictures of people riding Swing Arm City...guess what folks...I forgot the camera:-O...so we had to turn around and come all the way home...but hey...I didn't forget my bottle of water...cuz Carla says...you never know when you'll need it...teeheehee:-)

So yeah...I got a couple of good pictures...and a girl that was taking pictures said she would email me some...cuz I need them for the county website...you know me...always trying to make things more exciting. I know the guys are going to be so darn jealous when they come home and see the pictures...unless...they had a good dog hunting day themselves.

Carla and I went on a 15 mile bike ride at the park last night...Greg was our pickup...or as I call it slaggin wagon...guy...he is such are great sport! Well...it was fun...but I don't know if I'm going to survive all of Carla's bucket list wishes...she's too darn fit...I'll probably die before her body even thinks about it anyway...what am I bubbing about.

I'll keep everyone posted on the bucket list...and what comes of me...you may be reading my darn obituary sooner than later. Oh...and I hope you enjoyed the picture of my first flower so far this year...just got to love warm weather:-)

Well...I hope everyone had a great sunny day and got a lot of yard work done...but most important...I hope you took some time for yourselves.

The Way I Think Today

Hello...Hello! Have you ever just had a week that you seemed you couldn't fit everything into? Well...I definitely have had one this week.
I wanted to get these cute little pictures of Chasin on here...clear back from last Saturday...but here it is almost a week later and okay...so now I finally get them on.

Chelsie gave me a yumo cookie recipe and now I need to share it...so for those of you that love Pumpkin Cookies...here goes:

PUMPKIN COOKIES
Bake at 375` for 14 mins. Makes about 3 dozen cookies

1-box of spice cake mix ( or ) yellow cake mix and add the spices...that's what I did
1/2-can of pumpkin
1/2- bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips
Mix cake mix and pumpkin together until well blended...add choc. chips

It is a sticky mix...don't be alarmed. They are really moist!
Bake...Cool slightly...Enjoy!

*You can use the whole can of pumpkin and 2 cake mixes...and of course...more chocolate chips to double it...that works too.
I hope you enjoy them as much as we did and making them is 123 easy!

Whitney finally has her learners drivers license...watch out...here we go again:-O
She is going over to Chelsie's today...so she can tend the boys tomorrow...Chels has to work and Nolan does too...I guess if you can call a bull sale work...naw...really Noly has to work the sale...but I really think that he enjoys it???

I really want it to warm up...I need Spring to get here...I want to get the garden spot tilled and ready...I don't know why...then we'll just have to weed it...but it is kind of a fun thing in life...and I love going out everyday and seeing what's new in the garden. My flower beds could really use some working over this summer...O...I don't know...now that's work right there...but they are so darn pretty when they finally bloom and add color to your green lawn...and the butterfly's and bee's and humming birds all come to visit...and then you get happy...and then you can just sit and sit for hours watching and listening to the beauty that God has given us...so yeah...I think that I better get my flower beds in order! I can't wait to smell the fist lawn mowing...without doggie poo going through the blads...O...makes you want it to warm up and get green...Please Warm Up and bring me SPRING!

So here's to everyone that looks forward to Spring like me...keep smiling until you can actually smell it:-)

Who Votes For Spring & Horse Brushing Days

Okay...so...she is human and has early morning syndrome like the rest of us...but wait till later!

Okay...so...he is equine and has early spring syndrome like the rest of us...but wait til later!

Later is...I can't wait to see Barndiva and Nick at their game...O...what a thrilling time for me!
Later is...seeing them both shiny and bright and looking like the rest of the professional world!
Later is...seeing them enjoy this game as much as she enjoys her ball sports...now that's life!

So...now you see...I'm in the winter slump and can't wait until spring gets here to help me out!
I am so looking forward to crawling back on a horse and feeling the wind in my hair and the sun on my face as I enjoy the one miracle that proves...God Really Loves Me...A HORSE...Yes!

I don't know how many shows BD will get to this year...I sure hope at least a couple of them...I know that she will have her ball camps and work...but...hey...there is hope! She tells me to show...but hey...I'm not as cute as she is on a horse and her shirts look a lot better tucked in than mine...but who knows...maybe this is the summer???

I was just looking around my house this morning and thought to myself...that I really need to do some SPRING CLEANING...anyone want to come and help me??? No...but maybe that is the way to get out of the winter slump???

BD has been trying to wear shorts and summer clothes...she's a lot tougher than me...I'm still stuck in the winter garbs...although I did take a venture through my closet this morning...only to decide that my legs are too white and fat for Capri's...so now I guess it's that time of year to get the tan in a tube out and stain a tan onto my legs...just so I can walk in public...I don't think so...too soon anyways...it's got to get a lot warmer for me...like I said...I'm not as tough as BD.

So...if you find yourself in the winter slump too...just find those memories that help you realize that there is hope just around the corner...but don't forget...the sheep farmers just sheered their sheep...what do we know from this...it is going to snow now for another 4 weeks:-(

But hey...cheer up...and dig out your spring clothes...get them washed and ironed...if you still do that...buy your tan in a can...and by the time you get this all accomplished...wala...it is going to be spring...and watch out...cuz here we come!

IN LIKE A LAMB...OUT LIKE A....

March...in like a Lamb...out like a....? I guess that we will just have to wait and see...I sure hope out like a Lamb and not the Lion!
Greg is visiting Loa Ward today...sad...I'll miss him during church...but I really enjoy going to church and the nice feelings I get while I am there...so I guess I will just have to see him when we all get home.

I am cooking...Pork Roast...Baked Potatoes....Green Salad...and probably Garlic Cheesy Bread...YUMO! I think that today is a great day to bake some yummy chocolate brownies...from scratch...YUMO!

I can't believe the weekend is over already...like Carla said last night...I could do with a whole new weekend...me too!

On Friday...I forgot to tell you all that I went to Jaron and Larissa's house...the little Jager is getting so big...you all should hear him talk...he doesn't just say what it is...he has to put the whole sentence together...like...that is a horse! Too Cute!

Braegan wants to talk...he forms the word and then his eyes do the talking...we will just have to be patient...becuz...they talk when they want to...and when he finally does...I'm sure that it he will be loquacious like his mother...teeheehee!

Chasin knows that stagnant water is stinky...and he is really good at telling you that...and that fish live in fast water not stagnant water...too cute!

Well I just wanted to tell you all to have a very Happy Sunday...and enjoy your wealth through those you love and who love you!
