Little Hole In The Rock, San Juan County Utah

We had such a good time...it was so scary and very interesting.  I can honestly say that I learned how to ride a 4-wheeler that day!  I thought that this would be a fun trip to bring the kids and grand kids on...I don't think so...we better plan a trip to the zoo for the grand kids.

We had so much fun...although we could hardly walk the next day from being so darn sore! I can say that I am happy that Greg is very patient with me...cause on the way down to the little hole in the rock...I was so scared to ride my wheeler in some places...by the time we started back up...52 miles round trip...I was a little braver and decided that I was too exhausted to get off my wheeler...so I just rode it back up...scary...but fun and I am so glad that I did it! This is definitely a must for next year again!

I told Greg that if I did this type of riding every weekend I wouldn't have school lunch lady arms any more...do ya think I can talk him into taking me on fun trips like this every weekend...I don't think so either! Anyway...here are some picture of our trip...so scary...so fun!

The hole in the rock on the Escalante side was just the beginning of those poor pioneer's adversity...those people had to have some very strong testimonies and a very strong spirit to go with them!

It's Been Way Past Too Long

I know...it's been such a long time...and those of you that follow are probably wondering what the heck I think I am doing throwing this in here all of a sudden...no real reason...I've just missed blogging.

We have been just a little busy since I last blogged. Whit did do track this year.  She qualified for State in the 1600 Medley Relay Race...she runs the fist leg of the 200 Meters.
For those of you that don't know much about track...in this relay race there are 4 members on the team...here is her team:
Whitney Coleman - 200 meters - half way around the track
Josie Jackson - 200 meters -half way around the track
Amber Blackburn - 400 meters - one lap around the track
Lauren Jackson - 800 meters- two laps around the track

They ended up taking 7th place, but they tried their hardest.  Whitney did take 2nd in her leg...it was a great race...I've told her that she should run the individual 200 meters for next year...I think that she could really give em' a good race! I hope that she ends up throwing in the filed events as well.

Here are some pictures of her day!

So yeah...we are heading to San Juan this weekend on a 4-wheeler trip.  We are getting excited...we will have to learn all about the area, so that we can take the family back and do it for Easter or sometime...after the babies are born!
I'll take some good pictures of that trip as well...

I hope you all have a great day and enjoy just a little of our life from this last weekend!
XOXOXOX'S
