TIME OUT

Wow...it has been awhile since I've last blogged...I'm finally home and get to be here for awhile...then we'll head off to the Boys Basketball game to watch them hopefully kick some butt!

I thought that I would add a few pictures today of BD's bb games...she had a pretty good hurt on the Wednesday night game with Bryce Valley...we did win though...the JV did...that is! She ended up pulling the muscles in her neck and down one side of her back...so she has a muscle relaxer to take and an anti inflammatory...along with keeping the heat on it and rubbing Icy Hot on her...but she's tuff...if not...buck up buttercup...cuz life goes on...right:)

Tomorrow is the Super Bowl...we want the underdog to win...so go Cardinals:) We will be going over the the Southwicks' and doing the traditional tail gating party...so if any of my kids read this...come over and eat! I'm taking teriyaki stix and some kind of little pizza wheel...I don't want to get up and go look at the cookbook and see what the actual name is...so just live with little pizza wheels...okay!

Well...I'm going to go get a little lunch...even though it is a little late...and then we just got our jerky back from cooking and I can't wait to eat some of it....YUMO!!!

Before I leave I just have to tell you all that I've gone back to spinning class at the gym...wow...I'm a little sore...but what a nice workout I got...you've just gotta love it...so everybody back away from your computers and get somethings done for the day!

Well, to start off...I had to put a couple of pictures of Jaron on...one of when he was little and cute and the one when he is now...big and handsome...along with being a husband and daddy! Cute kid...just gotta Love this one:)!

We had fun at his birthday party that Larissa threw for him...we ate good pizza until we couldn't stand to eat anymore...and one of my favorites...green salad to go with it...yumo! The birthday cake that Larissa made was yumo as well and you know it...cookie dough ice cream...nice party Rissa! Thanks for inviting us over and sharing in on your fun!

Hello to all!!! I haven't sit down to blog in awhile now...sorry! I have been running this last week believe it or not and Barn Diva hasn't even had a BB game! We went to two of the Boy BB games and still things were busy on the off days.

Barndaddy went to Idaho all of last week and finally came home on Friday...when he walked into my office...wow...was I surprised...all I could do was OXOX him, becuz a week is a long time to be away from the ones you love! Anyway...he made it home without a scratch...you know I worry about him and his driving sometimes:(...but never the less...he made it home safely:)

We have ward conference today...so Barndaddy has to attend the Relief society meetings...becuz he is the High Counsel over that section. I might get to see him before Sacrament meeting! He left @ 6:00 AM this morning becuz they have early morning meetings with the High Counsel and the Stake Presidency...so I won't see him until...umm...probably 11:00 AM when our meetings start:(

BD said that she is ready to play some BBall becuz of the week off...I'm glad she is in that frame of mind...I just hope that they come ready to play...they will...it is Bryce Valley you know...and we like to see BD and her team steal a little of the Cornforth girls Thunder...get to it girls...kick a little Petunia!!

I can't wait until after church...I get to start reading another good book...I've already read the ones that Barndaddy gave me for Christmas...now I just need somemore for Valentine's Day!

It's A Holiday For Me...

Hello guys...it is definitely a Holiday for me...I plan on getting my hair cut and then reading a good book and maybe...just maybe...cleaning my bookshelves up, then that would remind me to clean my bedroom out...so then I would start de-junking...and then that would remind me that I need to wash my windows...I would start to wash my windows and then that would make me want to...clean my blinds...while cleaning my blinds...that would remind me that I want to buy new blinds...while thinking about buying...that would remind me that I want a new bed...then I would start to price new beds on the Internet...then that would remind me that I need to check on other orders...checking on other orders would remind me that I haven't visited amazon.com for a while...while on amazon.com...I will see all the books that I want to buy...when I see all the books that I want...that will remind me that I have a good book to read...then I'll just go read that good book! Sooo...what was this all about...just sit long and read much...becuz it's a Holiday...enjoy it and forget about cleaning!

That was...just my sociological way of thinking:):):)

Barn Diva doesn't have any ball games this week...they have a break...is it really a break...or is it just time to get behind??? I think the more they play the better tuned up they stay...but then that is my way of thinking once again! BD is at BB practice right now...may she sweat her Holiday off...get it...sweat her Holiday off!

Size Doesn't Matter!!!

Whit had the tip off jump for their first game in the Sophomore Tournament last weekend against Panguitch...we didn't expect her to out jump this gentle giant...but she did! As you can see the big girl is a good foot taller than Whit.

Whit's team mates didn't expect the tip off and had thrilling looks on their faces...when they ended up with the tip and off to the races!

We didn't beat Panguitch...our girls couldn't score...I should say nothing would fall into the hoop...I swear that there was a lid on the basket. We lost by 10 points.

The Lady Badger's did come back and win their next two games...but losing on the first day of the tournament meant they could only take 5th place...I think that they are better than that...I guess that they will have to see what they can do next year...after all it is Whit's Freshman year!

Tonight we play Piute...The Lady Badger's stole the Piute Thunderbirds JV's Thunder last time we played them...I hope we can do it again tonight!

Well that is my update of the Sophomore Tournament...I've been hopping and haven't blogged...I know...who's going to keep you all updated!

I'll see if I can get that u-tube uploaded and on so that you can all watch the actual tip off and a few of Baby Barn Diva's game time. She got another 2:30 something in the Varsity game against Milford...the Freshman...JV & Varsity totally Thunder stomped the Lady Tigers!

It's A Monday All Day Today...But What Beautiful Morning!

Hello to all...I sure hope that your Monday was a lot faster than mine...I have had commissioners meetings all day...then trying to get a few businesses a lowdown on the tax credits out there for their business come tax time. "I know...you all didn't want to just hear that...but now it is all off of my chest and I can now move on in life!"

I guess for FHE we are going to go up to the hall do a little canning of our noodles, wheat and rice tonight! Barndaddy is pretty set on it...with his tunnel vision and all we better get some canning done.

Hello guys...it's finally Friday...I know...I shouldn't be so excited...becuz of the Holidays...but Friday is Friday in my little corner of the world!!

It's game day in Bryce Valley...they have a Freshman team...I am so wickedly excited...can't wait until it is time to hit the road!

So Barnfriendshaun...you have a bad hair cut...ummm...where's the pictures of it...after all you are shutterfinger...are you not! Post em' we'll enjoy em'...and I know that your hair isn't that bad...becuz it never it...you're the only one that can wake up looking like your hair is already done for the day...teeheehee...not me...teeheehee...I look like sheeeesh...teeeheeeheee!

Makes You Wonder What He's Thinking huh!

Wake up you guys and smell the cold crisp beautiful air...we only live once! Barndaddy and uncle went...you know it...dog hunting again today...ummm, I really don't know where! I sure hope that they don't get stuck...becuz...I won't know where to send the troops for them...I'll bet that barnuncle Chado knows...kinda....ya think!

I know...I know...you're all still in bed and trying to decide if you want to even think about getting up...but I went to bed at 11:00 PM...becuz I'm old I guess! We went to Steve's Steak House...Barn Diva, Barnaunt, Barnfriend Brenda and I got steak ends....BD, BF and I got shrimp with it and BA got chicken with hers. Barndaddy, Barnuncle and Barnfriend Gary, got Top Serloin...& Shrimp too. We ate till BD thought that she would need to unzip and roll out the door...teeheehee!

Barnaunt called us last evening and invited us to tag along with them over the river and through the woods to have a great steak...I'm sure glad she thought about us...we would have stayed home and watched a DVD and ate dips of all sorts...Steak and Shrimp was a lot better...what did everyone else do?

I've just finished a great book...I think that I'll watch a few good movies today and then start another great book! I feel like my life is sweet today...don't ya just love 2009 already????

So did everyone see that Heather Gines graduated the U...good for her...YAHOO! Now for the rest of our kids to finish up...ya think!

I posted the schedule of Barn Divas games on the side bar of my blog...now you guys can keep up with where we're at and come if you want...if there is a time change, I'll try and call you or post it to let you know!
